An Intelligent Wheel Chock Design
The Smart Chock, designed for ultimate stability and ease of use, is more than just another wheel chock. The design allows for the rider to ride up into the chock and as the bike reaches the lever point it sits forward and perpendicular to the ground, providing more space around the bike and peace of mind that it won't be knocked over.
The stability is provided through the action of the cam. As the bike enters the chock and reaches that center point, the fingers of the cam start to clamp together, and as the bike reaches the resting point the cam applies full force held in by the weight of the bike.
The same cam design that provides the stability also allows for ease of entrance and exit. When removing it from the chock, the bike rolls back past center and the cam will release the gripping force on the tire allowing for an easy exit. The chock is fully adjustable without any spare parts; simply move the bolts to the correct setting for the wheel. Fourteen modes of adjustment accommodate all tire sizes.
The Smart Chock comes in two models: the Trailer Version (TVSC) and the Free Standing Version (FVSC). The TVSC is designed to always be mounted when in use, and the FVSC with its front support is designed for free standing or for being mounted in a trailer or truck. Add in the optional quick mounting kit and the FVSC can be removed from the trailer or truck in less then a minute. Weighing in at only 26 pounds makes for easy manoeuvering and transport.
